SITC's World Immunotherapy Council's Young Investigator Symposium
The World Immunotherapy Council (WIC) is a global initiative led by the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC). It brings together 18 organizations dedicated to advancing cancer immunotherapy research and its translation into clinical practice. The goal of the WIC is to foster scientific exchange and global collaboration to accelerate the development and delivery of new immunotherapies to patients worldwide.
As a member society of the WIC, the CCIC is honoured to participate in the WIC Young Investigator Symposium, which takes place every two years during the SITC's Annual Meeting. CCIC nominates an outstanding young investigator to represent Canada at this prestigious international forum.
The WIC Young Investigator Symposium provides a valuable platform for emerging scientists and future leaders from around the world to engage in scientific exchange and contribute to the advancement of cancer immunotherapy. Each nominated investigator, selected for exemplary work in the field, shares insight into current challenges, innovations, and future directions as immunotherapies continue to transform cancer treatment.
This forum highlights worldwide initiatives in cancer immunotherapy and facilitates scientific exchange and networking among today’s and tomorrow’s leaders. It also offers a unique opportunity to showcase the next generation of talented scientists, promoting knowledge exchange and fostering future international collaborations.
